      eCapitaVoucher STAR$® 2021 Campaign (“Promotion”)

      Date:     15 February 2021 to 31 December 2021 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”)

                     

      General Terms and Conditions:

      1. This Promotion is exclusive to CapitaStar Members (referred to as “Eligible Shopper”). All shoppers can download the CapitaStar mobile application and sign up within the App as a CapitaStar member to qualify and participate in this promotion.
      2. Eligible Shoppers must spend a minimum $20 value of eCapitaVoucher to qualify for the STAR$®.

          3. For eCapitaVoucher usage transaction, you will be entitled to STAR$® rounded down to the nearest dollar. For every S$1 captured, you will earn 5 STAR$® (1 STAR$ for supermarkets & food courts).

          4. eCapitaVoucher is subject to the CapitaVoucher terms and conditions. Click here for more info about eCapitaVoucher full terms and conditions. 

          5. Physical CapitaVoucher will not be applicable for this promotion.

      General Terms and Conditions:

      1. STAR$® awarded is subjected to terms and conditions listed here.
      2. For every S$1 captured, you will earn 5 STAR$® (1 STAR$® for supermarkets & food courts). You can accumulate up to a maximum of 5,000 STAR$® a day. The daily cap of 5,000 STAR$® applies to receipt scans and all bonus STAR$® promotion, unless otherwise stated by the respective promotions.
      3. This promotion is only applicable to the following malls: Bedok Mall,  Bugis Junction, Bugis+, Bukit Panjang Plaza, Clarke Quay, Funan, IMM, JCube, Junction 8, Lot One Shopper's Mall, Plaza Singapura, Tampines Mall and Westgate.
      4. The Prize is provided as it is and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Prize must be redeemed by the qualifying Eligible Shopper and is not transferable to any other Shopper. The Organiser is not obliged to provide a replacement item of equal or similar value once the Prize has been redeemed in full. The Organiser reserves the right to replace the Prize with an item of similar value at any time without prior notice.
      5. The Organiser reserves the right to verify all purchases made by the qualifying Eligible Shopper and the tax invoice(s)/ receipt(s) before processing the redemption of the Promotion.
      6. The Organiser and its partner(s) (if any) in this Promotion reserve the right to change, vary, replace, substitute, amend, withdrawal or cancel this Promotion and/or any of the terms and conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice or any liability to any party.
      7. The Organiser does not make any warranty or representation in relation to any product or services offered in this Promotion or redeemed by vouchers and shall not accept any liability in respect of the same.
      8. By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Shopper represents that he/ she has read and agreed with this Promotion Terms and Conditions.
      9. Without limiting the generality of the above, the following persons shall Not be eligible for the Promotion:

      ·          Persons who the Organiser may decide to exclude at its discretion without notice and without providing any reason, at any time.

          9. By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Shopper acknowledges and consents to the processing, collection, use and disclosure of his/ her Personal Data by the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries and related corporations including its holding company, CapitaLand Limited (collectively, “CapitaLand Group”), and authorised agents, business partners and service providers in compliance with applicable data protection laws, regulations and guidelines to facilitate the administration of the Promotion including compliance with the Promotion Terms and Condition and that he/ she has read and agreed with the CapitaLand Group’s Data Protection Policy available at www.capitaland.com.sg as may be amended, replaced, substituted from time to time.

      1. By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Shopper agrees that the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, business partners and respective officers and employees shall not be liable for any actions, claims, demands, injuries, proceedings, liability, losses, damages, costs and expenses of any nature sustained by the participant directly or indirectly by reason of or in connection with this Promotion.       2. The Organiser’s decision on any dispute regarding the Promotion shall be final and no correspondence shall be entertained.

      4. This Promotion Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the participant in this promotion irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts to resolve any and all dispute.

    • Buying eCapitaVoucher(s)
      • How do I buy eCapitaVoucher?

        eCapitaVoucher can be purchased directly from our CapitaStar App. Simply follow these steps:

        1. Launch your CapitaStar App
        2. Tap on "eCapitaVoucher" at the top right corner, select "Buy eCapitaVoucher", then choose "Buy for me".
        3. Confirm the total purchase value and proceed to complete payment.

        Purchased eCapitaVoucher will be stored under “My Vouchers->eCapitaVoucher”, valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

        Once purchased, the eCapitaVoucher cannot be gifted to others. 

      • How can I redeem eCapitaVoucher with STAR$®?

        You may redeem eCapitaVoucher with a min. of 5,000STAR$® on the CapitaStar App. Under the " Find our Best Reward" section, tap on "See All" and locate the tab "eCapitaVoucher". Select the denomination you will like to redeem and proceed. Once redeemed, the eCapitaVoucher will automatically be accepted and loaded into your eCapitaVoucher balance in-app.

        Any eCapitaVoucher redeemed using STAR$® will be non-transferrable and non-refundable.

      • How do I know if my eCapitaVoucher purchase is successful?

        Once your purchase is successful, a pop up will inform you that your payment is successful, and you will be able to see your eCapitaVoucher in your app “My Vouchers->eCapitaVoucher” with expiry date that is dated 1 year from date of purchase.

        To keep track of your eCapitaVoucher purchases and spending, you may access "Activity" from the bottom navigation bar.

      • What payment modes are available for buying of eCapitaVoucher?

        We accept payments via local credit cards like American Express, MasterCard, VISA or NETSPAY for eCapitaVoucher purchases.

      • Are there any limits on purchasing eCapitaVoucher for myself?

        eCapitavoucher can be purchased in denominations of $5 with a minimum amout of $10. The maximum amount you can buy per transaction is $500 and the maximum amount each person can store in their App is $1,000. Hence you may fail to purchase or receive anymore eCapitaVoucher if the resulting value of eCapitaVoucher in your wallet exceeds $1,000 after the purchase or acceptance.

      • How do I gift eCapitaVoucher to my friends?

        eCapitaVoucher can be gifted directly from the CapitaStar App. Simply follow these steps:

        1. Launch your CapitaStar App
        2. Tap on "eCapitaVoucher" tab on the top right corner and select "Send Gift"
        3. Select the purchase value and key in recipient details by mobile number or email address. (Please note that you can gift up to a maximum of 10 recipients and a maximum of S$5000 in a single transaction. The maximum that a recipient can hold in their wallet is S$1000, if the total in the recipient's wallet will exceed S$1000 after the gift, your transaction may fail).
        4. Proceed to make payment. Your eCapitaVoucher gift will be sent via mobile or email notification to the intended recipient.

        If your friend has a CapitaStar account, accepted eCapitaVoucher will be stored under “My Vouchers->eCapitaVoucher”, valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. Once accepted, the eCapitaVoucher cannot be gifted to others.

      • My friends might not be a CapitaStar member. How would they receive the eCapitaVoucher I have sent?

        eCapitaVoucher can be sent via email or mobile phone number. Your friends will be able to accept their eCapitaVoucher via a web wallet (https://pay.capitastar.com) even if they are not a CapitaStar member.

        However, we do recommend for them to download the CapitaStar App before accepting the eCapitaVoucher for greater ease in using them.

        Meanwhile, we are exploring more options of sending your eCapitaVoucher gifts to your friends, so stay tuned!

      • What payment modes are available for gifting of eCapitaVoucher?

      • Are there any limits on gifting eCapitaVoucher?

        There is no limit as to how many people you can send out to. eCapitaVoucher can be gifted in denominations of $5 with a minimum amout of $10. You may gift up to 10 recipients in a single transaction. The maximum amount you can buy per transaction is $5000 and the maximum amount each person can store in their CapitaStar account is $1,000. Hence you may fail to purchase or receive anymore eCapitaVoucher if the resulting value of eCapitaVoucher in your wallet exceeds $1,000 after the purchase or acceptance.

      • I have sent eCapitaVoucher to the wrong email address. How can I amend it?

        You may change your recipient mobile number or email address provided the recipient has not accepted the eCapitaVoucher gift. Simply follow these steps:

        1. Launch your CapitaStar App
        2. Tap on "eCapitaVoucher" tab on the top right corner and click "View Gift Status"
        3. Under "View Gift Status" -> "To be accepted", select the recipent you would like to make amendment and click "Remind Person" at the bottom
        4. Under "Recipient Details", input the recipient's mobile number or email address and when you are done, click on "Send Reminder" at the bottom.

        Once this is done, the recipient will receive an email or mobile notification to accept eCapitaVoucher gift.

      • Can I claim back the eCapitaVoucher that I sent?

        Yes, you may send the eCapitaVoucher gift back to yourself provided the recipient has not accepted the eCapitaVoucher gift. Simply follow these steps:

        1. Launch your CapitaStar App

        2. Tap on "eCapitaVoucher" tab on the top right corner and click "View Gift Status"

        3. Under "View Gift Status" -> "To be accepted", select the recipent you would like to make amendment and click "Remind Person" at the bottom

        4. Under "Recipient Details", input your mobile number or email address and when you are done, click on "Send Reminder" at the bottom. Once this is done, please look out for mobile or email notification to accept eCapitaVoucher gift.

         

        However, you will be unable to retrieve the eCapitaVoucher sent if the eCapitaVoucher has been accepted by the initial recipient.

      • How can I check if my friend already accepted my eCapitaVoucher gift?

        Tap on "eCapitaVoucher" on the top right of your app and select "View Gift Status" from the list of options.

        From the gift status screen, you can monitor whether your gift is pending acceptance, accepted or expired. If your gift has yet to be accepted by the recipient, you can choose to send a reminder or forward it to another recipient. 

    • Accepting eCapitaVoucher(s)
      • How can I accept the eCapitaVoucher that I received from my friend?

        From the gift email you received, click on the link to “Accept eCapitaVoucher” and it will open your CapitaStar App. The Voucher serial number and PIN number will be populated automatically in your app. Click on "Accept Gift" to accept your eCapitaVoucher(s).

         Your eCapitaVoucher will automatically be accepted and loaded into your wallet. Upon successful acceptance, you will receive an email to confirm that the eCapitaVoucher(s)  has been credited into your CapitaStar account.

        If you do not have the CapitaStar app installed on your mobile or are accepting the eCapitaVoucher via desktop, clicking "Accept eCapitaVoucher" will lead you to your web wallet. You may access your eCapitaVouchers from both the CapitaStar app and your web wallet as long as you login with the same registered CapitaStar mobile number.

      • Can I forward a gift eCapitaVoucher I received to someone else?

        Once you have accepted the gift into your wallet, you cannot gift it to another person. However, if you have not accepted the gift, you can forward the email to another person.

      • I have received eCapitaVoucher as a gift, but it showed that “Vouchers have already been accepted”. Why?

        We recommend that you check with the gift sender if the voucher has been forwarded to another recipient. It is likely that the voucher originally sent to you has been forwarded and accepted by another recipient.

        Before the gift is accepted, it can be claimed by any recipient designated by the gift sender. Rest assured that the eCapitaVoucher serial number and pin is unique and will never run into the risk of being accepted twice.

      • I tried to accept eCapitaVoucher, but it showed that “My Vouchers” exceeded $1,000. Why?

        The maximum amount of eCapitaVoucher to be stored in the app at any one point cannot exceed $1,000. Hence you may fail to purchase or receive anymore eCapitaVoucher if the resulting value of eCapitaVoucher in your wallet exceeds $1,000 after the purchase or acceptance.

        We will recommend you spend your available eCapitaVoucher(s) before accepting more eCapitaVoucher(s).
