Cessation Of Physical CapitaVoucher Acceptance at Participating Retailers From 1 July 2023

As part of our ongoing digitalisation efforts, we will be taking our shopping voucher, CapitaVoucher, fully digital.  

From 1 July 2023, physical CapitaVoucher(s) will no longer be accepted as a mode of payment at retailers across participating properties. This will be fully replaced by our existing digital shopping voucher programme eCapitaVoucher, which is available through the CapitaStar app.  

Shoppers who currently hold physical CapitaVoucher(s) are encouraged to use them by 30 June 2023 at participating CapitaLand malls .  

Shoppers who are unable to utilise their physical CapitaVoucher(s) by 30 June 2023 may convert them to STAR$® at an equivalent value from 2 May 2023 to 30 September 2023.  The STAR$®️ can be used to exchange for eCapitaVoucher(s), merchant deals or carpark redemption vouchers on the CapitaStar app.

  • 1. Partner Redemption Letters for Exchange of Physical CapitaVoucher(s)

    The following services are no longer available at all CapitaLand malls:

    • STAR$® redemptions to physical CapitaVoucher(s) for American Express® CapitaCard members
      As an alternative, you can still redeem eCapitaVoucher(s) with STAR$® from the CapitaStar App via your mobile device here.
    • Redemptions to physical CapitaVoucher(s) via partner redemption letters

Where can I convert
CapitaVoucher(s) to STAR$®

Valid physical CapitaVoucher(s) that are not utilised before 1 July 2023 can be converted to STAR$® from 2 May 2023 to 30 September 2023 at customer service counters across the following participating CapitaLand managed malls daily from 11am to 9pm.

All STAR$® issued from the conversion exercise will have a fixed expiry date on 30 June 2024.

For a more pleasant experience, please avoid peak hours which are between 12 – 2pm and 5 – 8pm daily, including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
