Terms & Conditions

 

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1.   A Carnival of Festive Cheer with CapitaStar (the “Promotion”) is exclusive to members of CapitaStar Rewards (referred to as “Eligible Shopper”). Shoppers can download the CapitaStar mobile application and sign up within the App as a member to qualify and participate in this Promotion. CapitaStar Rewards (Refer to CapitaStar Rewards Programme) is only awarded upon satisfying the following qualifying promotion mechanics (“Qualifying Actions”) as shown in the table below.

1.2.   The Promotion is organised by CapitaStar Pte Ltd and CapitaLand Retail Management Pte Ltd (“Organisers”) and shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”).

1.3.    The promotion period (“Promotion Period”) is from 06 November to 31 December 2024, both dates inclusive.

1.4.   Eligible Shoppers will receive either (i) Carnival Cheer Stamps with a fixed reward (“Game Reward”) and Mini Carnival Stamps (“Game Token”) or (ii) Mini Carnival Stamps (“Game Token”) only upon satisfying the following Qualifying Actions below, while stocks last. The Game Reward and Game Token(s) are issued on a randomised basis. The qualifying Promotion mechanics are as follows:

 

1.5.            “Digital Rewards” will be issued in the form of (i) Carnival Cheer Stamps with a fixed reward (“Game Reward”) and Mini Carnival Stamps (“Game Token”) or (ii) Mini Carnival Stamps (“Game Token”) only upon satisfying the following Qualifying Actions, while stocks last.

1.6.            General Definition of Game Reward(s)

1.6.1. For avoidance of doubt, Game Rewards are issued on a random basis for each Qualifying Action completed during the Promotion Period. Eligible Shoppers can receive more than one Game Reward during the Promotion Period and may also receive the same Game Reward.

1.6.2. As the Game Rewards also include eCapitaVoucher(s), Game Rewards will not be credited to the account of the Eligible Shopper if the value of eCapitaVoucher in the CapitaStar wallet of the Eligible Shopper exceeds Singapore Dollars One Thousand (S$1,000) in value after crediting the Game Rewards to the existing remaining eCapitaVoucher balance.  

 

1.7.            General Definition of Game Token

 

1.7.1. For avoidance of doubt, Game Token(s) have no monetary reward value and are issued on a random basis for each Qualifying Action completed during the Promotion Period.

1.7.2. Eligible Shoppers can use the accrued Game Token(s) to exchange for a random Game Reward based on defined rate of exchange during the Promotion Period on a first-come-first-served basis, whilst stocks of the Game Rewards last.

1.7.3.The quantity of Game Token(s) required to exchange for any Game Reward shall be determined by the Organizer in its sole discretion and may be subject to change from time to time without notice.

1.7.4. Any Game Token(s) obtained and/or accumulated by an Eligible Shopper shall be exchangeable into Game Rewards only during the Promotion Period and any Game Token(s) not exchanged after the Promotion Period shall automatically lapse, become void and of no further use.  

 

2.   Additional Terms governing qualification of Action 1 of Digital Rewards

(Spend minimum S$50 eCapitaVoucher at any participating CapitaLand malls in a single transaction)

2.1.   Eligible Shoppers must use transactional value of minimum S$50 or more eCapitaVoucher in a single transaction from the same participating CapitaLand malls on the same day (“Eligible Transaction/ Receipt”) to satisfy the Qualifying Spend and qualify for Game Rewards and/or Game Token(s), while stocks last. Use of eCapitaVoucher with transactional value of less than S$50 in the same purchase shall not be accepted for the purposes of this Digital Rewards Promotion.

2.2.   The Qualifying Period for Action 1 is from 06 November to 31 December 2024 (both dates inclusive). Each Eligible Shopper is entitled to one (1) redemption per day based on Action 1 during the Promotion Period. 

2.3.   Only the amount paid with eCapitaVoucher that is accepted by the participating store(s) in the participating CapitaLand malls will be accepted for redemption under this Promotion. The participating CapitaLand malls are:

·       Aperia Mall (AM)

·       Bedok Mall (BM)

·       Bugis+ (B+)

·       Bugis Junction (BJ)

·       Bukit Panjang Plaza (BPP)

·       Clake Quay (CQ)

·       Funan (FN)

·       IMM (IMM)

·       Junction 8 (J8)

·       Kallang Wave Mall (KWM)

·       Lot One Shoppers’ Mall (LO)

·       Plaza Singapura (PS)

·       Raffles City Singapore (RCS)

·       Sengkang Grand Mall (SGM)

·       The Atrium @ Orchard (TAO)

·       Westgate (WG)

 

2.4.   For usage of eCapitaVoucher for eligible purchases made at Aperia Mall (AM), Kallang Wave Mall (KWM), Sengkang Grand Mall (SGM) and SingPost Centre (SPC), Game Rewards and Game Token(s) will be issued but the action in the campaign page will not be greyed out.

2.5.   The Reward will not be awarded until the usage of eCapitaVoucher is determined to be valid. The Organiser may reject usage of eCapitaVoucher as invalid at its sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and conclusive.

2.6.   The Organiser and its partner(s) (if any) in this Promotion reserve the right to change, vary, replace, substitute, amend, withdrawal or cancel this Promotion and/or any of the terms and conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice or any liability to any party.

2.7.   The Organiser does not make any warranty or representation in relation to any product or services offered in this Promotion or redeemed by vouchers and shall not accept any liability in respect of the same.

2.8.   By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Shopper represents that he/ she has read and agreed with this Promotion Terms and Conditions.

2.9.   Without limiting the generality of the above, the following persons shall not be eligible for the Promotion: 

·       Persons who the Organiser may decide to exclude at its discretion without notice and without providing any reason, at any time.

·       Persons who create multiple CapitaStar accounts in order to enter the promotion more than once per person. Anyone found using multiple accounts to enter the promotion will be found in breach of these terms and excluded from the promotion.

 

2.10.   By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Shopper acknowledges and consents to the processing, collection, use and disclosure of his/ her Personal Data by the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries and related corporations including its holding company, CapitaLand Limited (collectively, “CapitaLand Group”), and authorised agents, business partners and service providers in compliance with applicable data protection laws, regulations and guidelines to facilitate the administration of the Promotion including compliance with the Promotion Terms and Condition and that he/ she has read and agreed with the CapitaLand Group’s Data Protection Policy available at www.capitaland.com.sg as may be amended, replaced, substituted from time to time.

2.11.   By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Shopper agrees that the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, business partners and respective officers and employees shall not be liable for any actions, claims, demands, injuries, proceedings, liability, losses, damages, costs and expenses of any nature sustained by the participant directly or indirectly by reason of or in connection with this Promotion. The participant shall indemnify and keep the Organiser and its officers, servants, agents and employees ("the Indemnified Parties") fully indemnified against any and all loss, damage, demand, liability, claims, expenses and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) suffered and/or incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties as a result of the breach of any of the terms and conditions herein by the participant.

2.12.   The Organiser’s decision on any dispute regarding the Promotion shall be final and no correspondence shall be entertained.

2.13.   This Promotion Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the participant in this promotion irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts to resolve any and all disputes.

3.   Additional Terms governing qualification of Action 2 of Digital Rewards

(Spend minimum S$50 with DBS/POSB payment modes at any participating CapitaLand malls in a single transaction)

3.1.   Eligible Shoppers must link their CapitaStar account on their DBS PayLah! App prior to payment and spend transactional value of minimum S$50 or more with DBS/POSB Payment Modes (DBS/POSB Credit or Debit Cards (excluding UPI) or DBS PayLah! via NETS QR) in a single transaction from the same participating CapitaLand malls on the same day (“Eligible Transaction/ Receipt”) to satisfy the Qualifying Spend and qualify for Game Rewards and/or Game Token(s), while stocks last. Purchases made with DBS Payment Modes with transactional value of less than S$50 in the same purchase shall not be accepted for the purposes of this Digital Rewards Promotion.

3.2.   The qualifying period for Action 2 is from 06 November to 31 December 2024 (both dates inclusive). Each Eligible Shopper is entitled to one (1) redemption per day based on Action 2 during the Promotion Period.

3.3.   Only the eligible purchases made with DBS/POSB Payment Modes accepted by the participating store(s) in the participating CapitaLand malls will be accepted for redemption under this Promotion. The participating CapitaLand malls are:

3.4.   For eligible purchases made with DSB/POSB Payment Modes at Aperia Mall (AM), Kallang Wave Mall (KWM), Sengkang Grand Mall (SGM) and SingPost Centre (SPC), Game Rewards and Game Token(s) will be issued but the action in the campaign page will not be greyed out.

3.5.   Eligible Shoppers who have linked their CapitaStar account on DBS PayLah! and have made a transaction at participating CapitaLand malls with DBS Payment Modes (DBS/POSB Credit or Debit Cards (excluding UPI) or DBS PayLah! via NETS QR) will not need to upload their receipts on the CapitaStar app to earn the Game Reward or Game Token(s).

3.6.   The Organiser and its partner(s) (if any) in this Promotion reserve the right to change, vary, replace, substitute, amend, withdrawal or cancel this Promotion and/or any of the terms and conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice or any liability to any party.

3.7.   The Organiser does not make any warranty or representation in relation to any product or services offered in this Promotion or redeemed by vouchers and shall not accept any liability in respect of the same.

4.   Additional Terms governing qualification of Action 3 of Digital Rewards

(Buy / Gift minimum S$50 eCapitaVoucher in a single transaction (except DBS paymodes))

4.1.   Eligible Shoppers must buy or gift a minimum of S$50 worth of eCapitaVoucher with any paymodes except DBS paymodes in a single transaction on the CapitaStar app to qualify for a Game Reward and/or Game Token(s), while stocks last. Get double rewards (2x eCapitaVoucher and 2x Carnival Cheer Stamps) from 14 December 2024 to 31 December 2024.

4.3.   The qualifying period for Action 3 is from 06 November to 31 December 2024 (both dates inclusive). Each Eligible Shopper is entitled to one (1) redemption per day based on Action 3 during the Promotion Period. Get double rewards (2x eCapitaVoucher and 2x Carnival Cheer Stamps) from 14 December 2024 to 31 December 2024.

4.4.   eCapitaVoucher will not be credited to the account of the Eligible Shopper if the value of eCapitaVoucher in the CapitaStar wallet of the Eligible Shopper exceeds Singapore Dollars One Thousand (S$1,000) in value after crediting the eCapitaVoucher to the existing remaining eCapitaVoucher balance.

5.   Additional Terms governing qualification of Action 4 of Digital Rewards

(Buy / Gift minimum S$50 eCapitaVoucher with DBS cards only in a single transaction)

5.1.   Eligible Shoppers must buy or gift a minimum of S$50 worth of eCapitaVoucher with only DBS/POSB Credit or Debit Cards as a paymode in a single transaction on the CapitaStar app to qualify for a Game Reward and/or Game Token(s), while stocks last.

5.3.   The qualifying period for Action 4 is from 06 November to 31 December 2024 (both dates inclusive). Each Eligible Shopper is entitled to one (1) redemption per day based on Action 3 during the Promotion Period.

5.4.   eCapitaVoucher will not be credited to the account of the Eligible Shopper if the value of eCapitaVoucher in the CapitaStar wallet of the Eligible Shopper exceeds Singapore Dollars One Thousand (S$1,000) in value after crediting the eCapitaVoucher to the existing remaining eCapitaVoucher balance.

6.   Additional Terms governing qualification of Action 5 of Digital Rewards

(Link CapitaStar account with DBS PayLah!)

6.1.   To satisfy the qualification requirements for Action 5, an Eligible Shopper must:

·       Be a CapitaStar member and DBS PayLah! account holder at the time of the promotion;

·       Successfully linked their CapitaStar and DBS PayLah! account during the Promotion Period. For avoidance of doubt, this Digital Reward is eligible for new CapitaStar to DBS PayLah! linkages during the Promotion Period only and does not apply to members who have previously linked their CapitaStar account with DBS PayLah!

 

6.2.   The Promotion Period for Action 5 is from 06 November to 31 December 2024 (both dates inclusive). Each Eligible Shopper is entitled to one (1) redemption only during the Promotion Period.

6.3.   The Organiser and its partner(s) (if any) in this Promotion reserve the right to change, vary, replace, substitute, amend, withdrawal or cancel this Promotion and/or any of the terms and conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice or any liability to any party.

6.4.   The Organiser does not make any warranty or representation in relation to any product or services offered in this Promotion or redeemed by vouchers and shall not accept any liability in respect of the same.

6.5.   By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Shopper represents that he/ she has read and agreed with this Promotion Terms and Conditions.

6.10.   This Promotion Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the participant in this promotion irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts to resolve any and all disputes.

7.     Additional Terms governing qualification of Action 6 of Digital Rewards

(Key in reward code <CHEER> on the CapitaStar App to get Mini Carnival Stamps)

7.1.   Eligible Shoppers must key in the reward code <CHEER> on the CapitaStar App to receive Mini Carnival Stamps and exclusive rewards.

7.2.   This action will be greyed out upon keying the reward code and receiving Mini Carnival Stamps for the first time.

7.3.   The Qualifying Period for Action 6 is from 06 November to 31 December 2024 (both dates inclusive). Each Eligible Shopper is entitled to one (1) redemption of Mini Carnival Stamps only during the Promotion Period. All other rewards tied to this reward code will be issued according to its eligibility criteria and terms and conditions.

7.4.   The Organiser and its partner(s) (if any) in this Promotion reserve the right to change, vary, replace, substitute, amend, withdrawal or cancel this Promotion and/or any of the terms and conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice or any liability to any party.

7.5.   The Organiser does not make any warranty or representation in relation to any product or services offered in this Promotion or redeemed by vouchers and shall not accept any liability in respect of the same.

7.7.   Without limiting the generality of the above, the following persons shall not be eligible for the Promotion: 

·       Persons who the Organiser may decide to exclude at its discretion without notice and without providing any reason, at any time.

·       Persons who create multiple CapitaStar accounts in order to enter the promotion more than once per person. Anyone found using multiple accounts to enter the promotion will be found in breach of these terms and excluded from the promotion.

9.5.   All eCapitaVoucher Rewards are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash, credit, goods or benefits-in-kind, unless otherwise stated.

9.6.   The eCapitaVoucher Reward shall be awarded on the presumption that the submitted tax invoice(s), receipt(s) and/ or charge slip(s) are original copies and valid.
