LINE FRIENDS World Tour Passport FAQ 


    How can I participate?

    The game is hosted on the CapitaStar App. Players will need to be CapitaStar Members by downloading the CapitaStar App to participate in the game. Simply sign up, log in and tap on the top banner or the side menu bar to start. To access the side menu, tap on the top left menu icon of the app and liner "LINE FRIENDS World Tour Passport" to start the gameplay.

    How to play?

    Players get a LINE FRIENDS stamp by completing each action stated on each stamp tile. Simply drag and drop stamps from the bottom dock of the passport to the respective colour stamp tile.

    What is the period for gameplay?

    15 November to 31 December 2019 (both dates inclusive).


    How do I earn a BROWN stamp?
    Earn a LINE FRIENDS Stamp (BROWN Stamp)  by snapping a minimum S$80 in a SINGLE RECEIPT via your CapitaStar App from these participating CapitaLand malls - Bedok Mall, Bugis+, Bugis Junction, Bukit Panjang Plaza, Funan, IMM, JCube, Junction 8, Lot One, Plaza Singapura, Tampines Mall, The Star Vista and Westgate.

    How long must I wait for the stamp to be pushed to the game?

    Stamp rewarding is based on the approval of your receipt which can take up to 3 working days.

    I have snapped a receipt, but the BROWN stamp is not appearing on my passport. Why?

    Please check that the following has been done:

    1. A minimum. of S$80 receipt in a single receipt is snapped into the CapitaStar App

    2. Ensure the receipt is from participating CapitaLand malls stated above

    3. The transaction is from participating retailers that qualify for STAR$ within the campaign period of 15 November to 31 December. Find out more here

    4. Ensure your receipt has been approved

    You may check on the status of your receipt approval via the Menu bar and tapping on History. Stamps will only be awarded for approved receipts within the duration of the campaign.

    I have met the spending criteria and have charged my purchase using my American Express CapitaCard, am I required to snap the receipt to get the BROWN stamp?

    Yes, you are still required to snap the receipt.

    If I am paying with DBS PayLah!, will I still be able to get the BROWNstamp without snapping a receipt?

    Yes, you are able to get the BROWN stamp automatically via this payment method (if you have linked your DBS PayLah! and CapitaStar Membership prior to payment). Check your history tab to confirm the transaction. Alternatively, you may snap your receipt of minimum S$80. 


    How do I get the MOON stamp at a mall event?

    Earn one (1) LINE FRIENDS Stamp (Moon Stamp) stamp by following the steps below:

    1. Tap on the 'Reward Code' from the side menu bar (on the top left-hand corner) of the CapitaStar App.

    2. Enter the reward code ‘MOONXMAS’. Reward code can be used only once a day.

    3. A LINE FRIENDS Mall Event eVoucher will be sent to your 'Vouchers' tab (located at the bottom right-hand corner of the CapitaStar App).

    4. Present this LINE FRIENDS Mall Event eVoucher to the event staff at the LINE FRIENDS event site.

    Please note that a CapitaStar Member can only redeem one (1) LINE FRIENDS Mall Event eVoucher per day. Only one (1) Moon Stamp can be issued out to each CapitaStar Member per event day. The LINE FRIENDS Mall Event eVoucher does not equate to an entry pass to the LINE FRIENDS event. A minimum spending criterion is needed in addition to the eVoucher.     How do I purchase eCapitaVouchers?

    You can purchase eCapitaVoucher on the CapitaStar App using American Express local credit cards or NETSPay.  To start your purchase of eCapitaVouchers, click on the 'Buy eCapitaVoucher' from the side menu bar (on the top left-hand corner) of the CapitaStar App. Start your purchase here

    Purchase of physical CapitaVouchers and redemption of eCapitaVoucher with STAR$ are not eligible. 

    What is the amount of eCapitaVouchers I need to purchase to get the CONY stamp?

    To earn one (1) LINE FRIENDS Stamp (CONY Stamp), purchase a minimum S$100 eCapitaVouchers in a single transaction.

    Where can I utilise my eCapitaVoucher?

    You can utilise your eCapitaVoucher at over 2,000 stores across 17 CapitaLand malls. Find out which are the participating stores here.

    Can I purchase eCapitaVoucher as a gift and still be eligible for the CONY stamp?

    Yes, you can purchase for yourself or send as a gift with minimum S$100 eCapitaVoucher in a single transaction. Note that purchase should be done as a new transaction and not from redemption of STAR$ or existing eCapitaVoucher balance. 


    Can I redeem any eDeals on the CapitaStar App to receive CHOCO stamp?

    Each eDeal voucher that is redeemed and used via the CapitaStar App will be issued one (1) LINE FRIENDS Stamp (Choco Stamp). eDeals such as eCapitaVoucher eDeals, carpark eVouchers, Grab eVouchers, Jewel eVouchers, lucky draw vouchers, LINE FRIENDS pop-up store eDeals and LINE FRIENDS World Tour event eVouchers are not eligible for the issuance of LINE FRIENDS Stamps.

    Why have I not received my CHOCO stamp?

    After redeeming an eDeal with your STAR$ on the CapitaStar App, you will have to use the eDeal at the respective stores to be considered as fulfilling CHOCO’s stamp action. 


     How will the winner be notified?

    Winner of the grand draw will be contacted via a call or an email by 10 January 2020.  Kindly ensure your complete contact details are updated in your CapitaStar account.


    How would my STAR$ be credited?

    STAR$ will be credited into your CapitaStar account instantly upon connecting a set of 3 LINE FRIENDS stamps.  Click on the ‘History’ tab from the side menu bar (located at the top left-hand corner) on the main page of your CapitaStar App to check the STAR$ rewards.

    Why didn’t I receive my rewards after connecting 3 LINE FRIENDS stamps in a row?

    The rewards might have been fully redeemed. On the game play screen, tap on the prize button at the top left-hand to check on the availability of the prize tiers.


    How do I know if I have won a prize?

    A pop-up message will be displayed indicating that you have won a prize on the LINE FRIENDS World Tour Passport game. Prize of S$50 eCapitaVoucher will be credited directly into your account within 3 working days. CapitaStar Members who win a set of LINE FRIENDS plushies shall each receive an eVoucher with details of prize collection. CapitaStar Members who win the S$10 Grab Vouchers will receive an eVoucher for Grab within the CapitaStar App.

    I am not a CapitaStar Member. How can I still participate?

    Download the CapitaStar App to join as a Member (membership is free). Key in the promo code ‘CSLFXMAS’ when you sign up and receive bonus 1,000 STAR$ from now till 31 December 2019.

    I have forgotten my password. What can I do?

    To reset your password, you may follow these steps: 

    1. Launch the CapitaStar App or visit

    2. Select “Forgot Password”

    3. Enter the required fields, a SMS One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to you

    4. Proceed to login to your account with the One-Time Password (OTP) received

    5. You will be prompted to create a new password upon your successful login
