Terms & Conditions

1.     Go Big with CapitaStar and Mastercard Campaign (the “Promotion”) is exclusive to members of CapitaStar Rewards (referred to as “Eligible Member”). Shoppers can download the CapitaStar mobile application and sign up within the app as a member to qualify and participate in this Promotion. CapitaStar Rewards (Refer to CapitaStar Rewards Programme) is only awarded upon satisfying the following qualifying promotion mechanics (“Qualifying Actions”).  

2.     This Promotion is valid from 18 August 2025 – 22 September 2025, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).

3.     To be eligible for the Promotion, Eligible Members must fulfill the Qualifying Actions of:

3.1.   Linking your Mastercard credit/debit on the CapitaStar app for the first time to receive $5 eCapitaVoucher (“Linkage Reward”). Linkage Reward is limited to the first 15,000 linkages on a first-come-first-serve basis, while stocks last.

For avoidance of doubt, Eligible Members shall only receive one (1) Linkage Reward upon linking their first Mastercard throughout their CapitaStar membership period. Any subsequent Mastercard linkages are not eligible for the Linkage Reward. Find out how to link your Mastercard on the CapitaStar app here.

3.2.   Spending minimum $80 in a single transaction with your linked Mastercard credit/debit card at participating stores to receive $10 eCapitaVoucher (“Spend Reward”). Eligible Members shall only receive one (1) Spend Reward per day, a total of two (2) Spend Rewards throughout the Promotion Period on a first-come-first-serve basis, while stocks last.

Eligible Members must successfully link their Mastercard credit/debit card on the CapitaStar app prior to paying. Find out how to link your Mastercard on the CapitaStar app here.

3.2.1. Please note that selecting NETS/NETS FLASHPAY/NETS QR as a payment method are not eligible to earn STAR$®. Please select or inform the staff that you would like to pay via credit/debit card to make a qualifying spend.

3.2.2. Certain transactions made with UOB Mastercard via a mobile payment method such as Apple Pay will not be awarded with STAR$®. Please pay using your physical linked UOB Mastercard at the cashier terminal to earn your STAR$®.

3.2.3. Payments made via the store’s app/table ordering platforms are not eligible to earn rewards. Please pay at the cashier payment terminal to make a qualifying spend.

3.2.4. A newly linked Mastercard can only be removed from your CapitaStar account after 48 hours.

4.     Rewards issued to Eligible Member’s CapitaStar account may take up to 7 business days.

5.     The Rewards will be issued based on the transactions that are registered in our system and reflected on the Activity screen of your CapitaStar account, in chronological order. For illustration:

Scenario: Eligible Member has made 2 transactions on the same day, out of which 1 transaction is not instantly registered

Based on the above table for the scenario illustrated, transaction 1 will be awarded with the Reward on the same day upon transaction being registered on the CapitaStar app. As transaction 2 is only registered on our system and reflected on your CapitaStar account on 20 August, Reward earned for that transaction is delayed and will be awarded on 20 August instead.

7.     This Promotion is subjected to the CapitaStar programme rules of maximum 3 same-store transactions per day and maximum 20 transactions across all properties in a rolling 7-day period.

8.     By participating in this campaign, the Eligible Shopper represents that he/she has agreed with this Promotion Terms and Conditions and to be bound by all terms and conditions of the CapitaStar Programme.

9.     In the event of dispute, the Management’s decision shall be final and no correspondence will be entertained.

10.  The Management and its partner(s) (if any) in this Promotion reserve the right to change, vary, replace, substitute, amend, withdrawal or cancel this Promotion and/or any of the terms and conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice or any liability to any party.

11.  The Management reserves the right to reject any issuance of Rewards or recover any issued Rewards from any Eligible Member under the suspicion of attempts to use a fraudulently obtained credit/debit card for this Promotion.
