1. What is STARVoucher?
STARVoucher is now being offered in a digital form via CapitaStar App. This is the digital version shopping voucher that brings convenience as you can use it instantly on demand at the participating tenant’s outlets. CapitaStar members can use your STAR$ to redeem your STARVoucher, available conveniently on the CapitaStar app. You can use the STARVoucher in across over 300 stores in 7 CapitaLand malls according to region in Malaysia.
2. How do I redeem STARVoucher?
To redeem STARVoucher, you will need to be a CapitaStar Member. CapitaStar Members can access their CapitaStar App through their latest iOS or Android devices.
3. How can I view the total amount of STARVoucher that I have?
On the top left button of the CapitaStar App's home page, you can see the total number of STARVoucher that you have available to use.
4. What is the denomination of STARVoucher that available for redemption in CapitaStar App?
The STARVoucher is available in 2 denominations for redemption, namely RM10 and RM50.
5. How much STAR$ do I need to redeem STARVoucher?
Members need to use 2,000 STAR$ to redeem 1 X RM10 STARVoucher; and 10,000 STAR$ to redeem 1X RM50 STARVoucher.
6. Is there a limit of STARVoucher redemption per member?
Members can redeem a maximum of 3 pieces of RM10 STARVoucher and1 piece of RM50 STARVoucher via their CapitaStar App as long as there is sufficient STAR$ in the member’s account, on a first come, first served basis.
7. What can I do if I have insufficient STAR$ to redeem STARVoucher?
Members can continue to earn more STAR$ via CapitaStar App before you may redeem any STARVoucher.
8. What can I do if I accidentally redeem the STARVoucher and I want a refund?
We are sorry to inform that there is no refund allowed once the edeal/voucher redeemed by member via CapitaStar App.
9. What can I do if I redeem the STARVoucher from the wrong mall/region and I would like to change my STARVoucher to the mall/region I wanted?
We are sorry to inform that there is no refund/exchange allowed once the edeal/voucher redeemed by member via CapitaStar App. Members are advised to check the details of the edeals/vouchers carefully before making a redemption.
10. Do I need to go to the Information Counter to exchange for physical voucher before I can use my STARVoucher?
Members do not need to go to the information counter to exchange for physical voucher. STARVoucher is a digital voucher in CapitaStar App, members can use the STARVoucher directly at the participating tenant’s outlet after redeeming the STARVoucher in CapitaStar App.
11. Where can I use the STARVoucher?
Members may use the STARVoucher at the participating outlets across 7 CapitaLand malls according to the region specified in the voucher. Please refer here for the full list of participating tenants who can accept STARVoucher.
12. Can I use the STARVoucher at any of the participating mall regardless from which mall I make the redemption in CapitaStar App?
The STARVoucher usage is categorised by region, namely
- Klang Valley (3 Damansara, Melawati Mall, Sungei Wang Plaza and The Mines);
- Kuantan, Pahang (East Coast Mall); and
- Penang (Gurney Plaza and Queensbay Mall).
When you redeem the STARVoucher from one of the participating mall, you may use the STARVoucher at any other participating mall too within the same region. Please refer to below table for more details: -

13. Who are the participating tenants of STARVoucher programme?
Please refer here for the full list of participating tenants who may accept STARVoucher in the mall. For member’s easy reference, there will be a floor sticker installed in front of the tenant’s outlet and a wobbler at the tenant’s cashier desk to indicate that they accept STARVoucher for all participating tenants.
14. How do I use the STARVoucher?
Members can use the STARVoucher to offset the total bill at the participating outlet. For example, if the total bill is RM15, member can pay using 1 X RM10 STARVoucher and pay the balance of RM5.

15. Any minimum spending required to use a STARVoucher?
There is no minimum spending required for member to use the STARVoucher.
16. Can I get the tenant to pay me the balance if my total spend is lesser than the STARVoucher amount that I pay?
Members will not get any refund/balance paid if the total spend is lesser than the STARVoucher amount. For example, if the total bill is RM8, and member chooses to pay with 1 X RM10 STARVoucher, the balance RM2 will be forfeited and no balance will be paid to the member.
17. Can I use multiple STARVoucher(s) in one transaction?
Members can use multiple STARVoucher(s) in one transaction at most of the participating outlets. Members are advised to check with the tenants for confirmation before making the purchase.
18. Can I transfer my STARVoucher to other CapitaStar members?
We are sorry to inform that the STARVoucher is not transferable to other CapitaStar members.
19. Can I purchase STARVoucher?
We are sorry to inform that the STARVoucher is not for sale at the moment.
20. What is the voucher validity period of STARVoucher?
Please refer to the voucher validity period stated in the terms and conditions of the e-deal in CapitaStar App.
21. What if I forget to use my STARVoucher and it expires, can I ask for extension?
We are sorry to inform that there will not be any extension of the voucher validity period upon voucher expiry.
22. What if the participating tenants refuse to accept my STARVoucher even though they are the participating tenants?
In the event of such cases, members are advised to report this case immediately to the mall’s information counter for immediate assistance. Alternately, members can email to ask_us@capitastar.com.my and we will reply within 3 working days upon receiving the email.
23. What can I do if there is error in the STARVoucher transaction?
In the event of such cases, members are advised to report this case immediately to the mall’s information counter for immediate assistance. Alternately, members can email to ask_us@capitastar.com.my and we will reply within 3 working days upon receiving the email.
