Terms and Conditions: Instant Awarding Programme (CapitaStar x Kris+)

1. Service Overview

• By linking your CapitaStar account with your Kris+ account on the Kris+ platform, you can earn both KrisPay miles and CapitaStar rewards on Qualifying Transactions made through the Kris+ platform (the “Instant Awarding Programme”).
• All KrisPay miles and CapitaStar STAR$ remain subject to the terms and conditions of the respective programmes. In the event of inconsistency between these terms and conditions and the terms and conditions of the respective programmes, the prevailing programme terms shall apply.

2. Eligibility

• In order to be eligible for the Instant Awarding Programme, you must:
  • be at least 18 years of age;
  • be an active CapitaStar member in good standing;
  • have a valid Kris+ account;
  • be physically present in the territory of Singapore to make a transaction at a Kris+ merchant located in a CapitaStar Participating Property; and
  • have successfully linked your CapitaStar and Kris+ accounts prior to payment.

3. Account Linking

• You may link one CapitaStar account to one Kris+ account only.
• Account linking requires verification via SMS OTP.
• Kris+ and CapitaStar reserve the right to verify account ownership.
• Linking is immediate upon successful verification.

4. Rewards & Benefits

• The Instant Awarding Programme applies to Qualifying Transactions only.
• Certain merchants, products, services, promotions or transaction types may be excluded from the Instant Awarding Programme.
• KrisPay miles and CapitaStar STAR$ will be credited your respective accounts according to the respective programme's processing timelines. Reward crediting may take up to 7 business days or longer during peak periods, system maintenance, investigations, or exceptional circumstances.
• Promotional earning rates may apply and will be communicated separately.

5. Transaction Requirements

• Qualifying Transaction is defined as payment of a minimum amount of SGD 20 at the premises of a Participating Merchant through the Kris+ app. Participating Merchant is defined as a merchant with premises at a CapitaStar Participating Property that accepts Kris+ wallet as a payment method.
• CapitaStar Participating Property is defined as a participating property under the CapitaStar x Kris+ Instant Earn Programme, as updated from time to time and published here.
• Any additional criteria which may be applicable to earn STAR$®, the limitations on earning STAR$®, and the particular STAR$® earn rate, for each specific Qualifying Purchase, shall be determined by CapitaStar at their sole and absolute discretion and may vary from time to time, as between Participating Malls, as between Qualified Retailers in Participating Malls, and as between particular Qualifying Purchases at the same Qualifying Retailer and Participating Mall. • Rewards will not be credited for void or cancelled transactions.
• In the event of any refund or cancellation of any transactions resulting in the reward of KrisPay Miles or STAR$, Kris+ and CapitaStar have the sole and absolute discretion to reverse the corresponding number of KrisPay Miles or STAR$ awarded in respect of such transactions.

6. Account Management

• You may unlink your accounts at any time through the Kris+ app. Unlinking does not affect previously earned rewards. Any pending transactions that have not yet been processed at the time of unlinking may not qualify for reward crediting.
• Re-linking is subject to these terms and conditions.
• Kris+ and CapitaStar reserve the right to suspend, terminate, adjust, reverse or withhold rewards where fraudulent, abusive, suspicious or unauthorised activities are detected.

7. Data Sharing

• Transaction and account information necessary to facilitate account linking, reward calculation, fraud prevention, customer support, auditing and compliance may be exchanged between the partiesPersonal information handling is governed by respective privacy policies
• You consent to data sharing by linking your accounts

8. Modifications

• Kris+ and CapitaStar further reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions of the Instant Awarding Programme (including any benefits, redemption and other features of this programme) with 30 days' notice.
• Although Kris+ and CapitaStar will use reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes to the Instant Awarding Programme, it is your responsibility to keep yourself up to date. The continued use of the Instant Awarding Programme will be deemed acceptance of any amendment.

9. Termination

• The Instant Awarding Programme may terminate at Kris+’s and CapitaStar’s discretion upon 30 days’ prior notice. Notice of termination shall be provided to you in the manner that Kris+ deems reasonable, including but not limited to posting notice on the Kris+ app or via email.

10. Limitations

• Service availability may be affected by system maintenance, technical issues, third-party dependencies, network outages or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
• Kris+ and CapitaStar shall not be liable for any delay in crediting of KrisPay miles or STAR$ to your account for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to technical faults or a lack of service availability.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any unresolved dispute arising under, out of, or in connection with these terms and conditions, including any questions regarding its existence, validity or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in Singapore in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre for the time being in force.
• To the extent that any provision contained or referred to herein is contrary to anything contained in any applicable laws, government regulations, orders or requirements that cannot be waived by agreement of the parties, such provision shall not apply. The invalidity of any provision shall not affect the validity of any other provision.
