1. General
1.1 By participating in the DBS x CapitaStar Retailholic Programme (“Programme”), you are deemed to have read and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).
1.2 These Terms supplement and are meant to be read together with the following:
(a) General Terms & Conditions governing the use of DBS/POSB Cards. For details, visit www.dbs.com.sg/dbscardstnc.
2. Eligibility & Registration
2.1 DBS/POSB Credit & Debit Principal Cardmembers who are existing CapitaStar members (“Cardmembers”). Limited to the first 5,000 registrations only.
2.2 The Programme period shall run from 4 May 2022 to 31 July 2022 and includes a registration period and two spend periods (all dates inclusive) as follows:
a) 4 May - 31 May 2022 (“Registration Period”)
b) 1 June - 30 June 2022 (“Spend Period 1”)
c) 1 July - 31 July 2022 (“Spend Period 2”)
2.3 A one-time fee of S$6 is applicable to participate in the Programme.
2.4 To participate in the Programme, Cardmembers must register and make an upfront payment of S$6 on a DBS/POSB Credit or Debit Card via https://www.go.dbs.com/sg-capitastarretailholic during the Registration Period.
2.5 Cardmember’s card account must not be suspended and must be in good standing (i.e. to abide by the terms and conditions listed in the DBS Card Agreement) throughout Programme period.
3. Eligible Spend
3.1 “Qualified Spend” refers to all in-store transactions made at Plaza Singapura and Tampines Mall that are in local currency (SGD) and charged to DBS/POSB Credit or Debit Cards within the spend periods and posted to the DBS/POSB Credit or Debit Cards by 2nd of the following month. For the avoidance of doubt, any spend made with DBS PayLah! and/or DBS/POSB ATM Cards will not be eligible.
3.2 Qualified Spend also excludes the following types of transactions:
a) bill payments and all transactions made via AXS and SAM;
b) any top-ups or payment of funds to payment service providers, prepaid cards, any prepaid accounts or purchase of prepaid cards/credits/vouchers (including but not limited to EZ-Link, GrabPay, NETS FlashPay, ShopeePay and Singtel Dash);
c) any betting transactions (including but not limited to levy payments to local casinos, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, off-track betting and wagers);
d) any transactions related to crypto currencies;
e) purchases made with instalment payment plan or my preferred payment plans;
f) balance transfer, fund transfer, cash advances, annual fees, interest, late payment charges, all fees charged by DBS, miscellaneous charges imposed by DBS (unless otherwise stated in writing by DBS);
g) payments made using mobile wallets in Merchants Apps, including but not limited to Shopback, Fave, GrabPay and Singtel Dash;
h) payments to professional service providers (including but not limited to accounting, auditing, bookkeeping services, advertising services, funeral services, legal services and attorneys, and Pay+Earn);
i) pre-authorised transactions on the Card account (e.g. hotel bookings);
j) payments made via online banking, telephone or mail order; and
k) any other transactions determined by DBS from time to time.
3.3 The total Qualified Spend will include purchases made by both the Principal and Supplementary Cardmembers (if any).
3.4 DBS shall not be responsible for any failure or delay by merchants in posting of sales transactions which may result in transactions being omitted from the computation of the Qualified Spend.
4. Earning of 5% rebate in eCapitaVouchers
4.1 All Qualified Spend will earn 5% rebate (“Rebate”) in the form of eCapitaVoucher, rounded to the nearest 2 decimal places. Please see sample computations in the table shown below.

4.2 Only Qualified Spend made during the specific spend periods will be eligible to earn the Rebate, capped at S$25 eCapitaVoucher per spend period.
4.3 The Rebate earned for each spend period will be credited in the form of eCapitaVouchers into the Cardmember’s CapitaStar account as provided by the Cardmember during registration. The eCapitaVoucher will be valid for a period of one month from the date of crediting and no further extension to the validity period will be made.
4.4 The Rebate earned for each spend period will be credited by the 9th of the following month. Please refer to Rebate crediting schedule below:
· Total eCapitaVoucher earned for Spend Period 1 will be credited by 9th July 2022
· Total eCapitaVoucher earned for Spend Period 2 will be credited by 9th August 2022
5. General
5.1 DBS reserves the right at any time without giving any reason or notice to deduct, withdraw or cancel any eCapitaVoucher awarded to a Cardmember without liability.
5.2 DBS will have the final decision on all matters regarding the Programme.
5.3 DBS may change these terms or suspend/terminate the Programme without giving any notice.
5.4 Notwithstanding anything herein, DBS has the absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of any person to participate in the Programme.
5.5 Cardmembers consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal data by/to DBS, CapitaStar Pte Ltd and CapitaLand Voucher Pte Ltd and such other third party as DBS may reasonably consider necessary for the purpose of the Programme, and confirm that they accept the terms of the DBS Privacy Policy, a copy which can be found at www.dbs.com/privacy.
